The combination of two superior Hydraway® Products creates the most effective and state of the art waterproofing system offered!
Hydraway® 2000, is a superior performing system, and a cost effective replacement for perforated pipe and rock, "drain tiles". Hydraway Drain 2000 is made of heavy-duty, clog-resistant geotextile fabric, permanently bonded to a rugged polyethylene lattice for strength and support.
Hydraway® 100, is a high strength polyethylene core that is fusion bonded to a polypropylene filter fabric. It has a high compressive strength and flow capacity.
Hydraway® 100
Advantages
Polypropylene filter fabric provides a superior and clog-resistant filtering system.
Hydraway® Drain Systems will not support fungus growth.
Hydraway® Drain Systems are an engineered alternative to conventional pipe and rock "drainage systems".
Hydraway® Drain Systems provide over 70% more open area, allowing for a much higher water entry rate when compared to a typical pipe & rock systems.
No rock necessary. Backfilled with excavated material.
Fusion bonding keeps the fabric firmly attached in high heat and humidity.
Heavy-Duty construction allows for installation in depths in excess of 50'.
Basic Use: relieves Hydrostatic pressure by acting as a shallow underdrain. Hydraway 2000 is a superior performing and cost effective replacement for the "french" drain (fabric, perforated pipe and aggregate).
Limitations: This product should not be used where it will be subjected to temperatures in excess of 200o F.
Applications: Highway and airport pavements, parking lots, golf courses, recreational fields and residential foundations.
Features and Benefits:
Polyethylene core (vs. polystyrene) provides flexibility, lightweight and chemical resistance.
Replaces the fabric, perforated pipe and aggregate backfill required in most traditional drain systems.
Backfill uses excavated material.
Machine installed using conventional trenching equipment.
Requires less labor and equipment than traditional drain systems.
Fusion bonding (vs. gluing) the core and fabric provides fungus resistance, and keeps the fabric firmly attached in high heat and humidity.
Individually wrapped rolls and flexibility assure easy installation even at cold temperatures.
